Central Florida apartment moving
Apartment and high-rise movers who plan for the building.
Elevators, loading docks, reserved move windows, stairs, parking rules, and long carries can shape the entire day. Black Swan Moving plans around the access at both addresses.
Real Black Swan Moving equipment prepared for distance between the residence and truck.Access is part of the move
The address tells us where. The access tells us how.
A fourth-floor apartment with a reserved freight elevator requires a different crew plan than a ground-floor unit beside the parking lot. Tell us what the route looks like from your door to the truck at both locations.
Building rules and move windows
Share scheduled hours, check-in procedures, loading-area rules, and any documents requested by management.
Elevators, stairs, and hallways
Tell us the floor, elevator type and reservation, stair count, hallway distance, and any tight turns.
Parking and truck access
Confirm the loading dock, reserved space, gate access, clearance limits, and distance from parking to the unit.
Details to confirm early
Four building details that can change the plan.
Ask your property manager about these requirements before requesting a final moving plan.
Elevator reservation
Confirm the correct elevator, reservation window, protective-padding rules, and where the crew checks in.
Loading location
Find out where the truck may park, whether a loading dock is required, and how far the carry will be.
Insurance documents
Ask exactly which insurance type, limits, wording, and additional-insured information the building requires.
Move-day schedule
Confirm approved days and hours, elevator time, access-code timing, and penalties for exceeding the window.
Do not assume every certificate requirement is the same.
Black Swan Moving currently carries cargo insurance and can provide available cargo-insurance documentation upon request. We do not carry general liability insurance. If your building requires a general-liability certificate of insurance, we may not meet its requirement. Send the building's written requirements to our office before booking so eligibility can be confirmed.

Shared spaces deserve care
Protection from the unit to the loading area.
Apartment moves may pass through doors, halls, elevators, stairwells, and other shared areas. We plan the carry and use appropriate moving equipment and protection based on the approved work, property rules, and conditions.
Tell us about unusually long walking distances, tight turns, stairs, elevator dimensions, or areas where rolling equipment cannot be used.
Before you reserve the date
Get the building's exact insurance request in writing.
The phrase “certificate of insurance” can refer to different coverage and documentation. The written requirements determine whether we can serve the property.
Confirm whether the property requires cargo insurance, general liability, workers' compensation, commercial auto coverage, or a combination.
Get the requested coverage limits, certificate-holder information, additional-insured wording, and any endorsement requirements.
Our office can compare the request with the cargo coverage documentation available and tell you whether the building's requirement can be met.
A document is not approved until property management accepts it. Do not reserve an elevator based only on an assumption that the requirement will be satisfied.

What customers ask before move day.
Do I need to reserve an elevator?
Many apartments and high-rises require residents to reserve a freight or service elevator. Ask management which elevator must be used, the approved moving window, where the crew checks in, and whether protective elevator padding is required.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Black Swan Moving can provide documentation for its available cargo insurance. We do not carry general liability insurance. Because building requirements vary, obtain the complete written insurance request and send it to our office before booking. A property requiring general-liability coverage may not approve us.
What is a long carry?
A long carry is an extended distance between the residence and the moving truck. Large complexes, high-rises, restricted parking areas, and distant loading docks can increase carrying time and affect the equipment and crew plan.
What should I tell you about stairs?
Tell us the floor, number and shape of staircases, exterior or interior access, narrow turns, and any item that may not fit. Share details for both pickup and delivery.
Can you help pack and unpack an apartment?
Yes. You can request full packing, selected-room packing, fragile-item preparation, or unpacking help. Explain what you want included when requesting your estimate.
Where should the moving truck park?
Ask property management to identify the authorized loading dock or parking area and confirm clearance limits, reservation procedures, permits, and the route from the truck to your unit.
